Unknown Enough

Cool air, but no breeze

Dewy plant dampening cloth

The pale milky sphere thousands away

Your known land

Your familiar

Your unknown

Creatures go on in the distance

Too small to see. Loud enough to hear, but your ears are already filled

Crackled sky and burning star, all there to listen

To listen to what?

You don't know yet, but they do. They all do

Soft, though, it is coming

Slow, maybe after your gone

But it's never too late

Not for you
